Work completed: Full PPF matte version
We were honored to work on one of the first deliveries of the brand new 2024 Chevy Corvette C8 Z08 in Orange County. This is not your ordinary Corvette. The Z06 comes with a flat-plane crankshaft, 670 horsepower and a wild redline of 8600rpm.
The owner wanted to protect this car and decided to go with matte paint protection film. The car came from the factory gloss black. Matte Paint Protection Film will go onto the gloss paint and change the appearance of the car while still maintaining the protection of PPF. The owner went with the full-car PPF package which means that all painted surfaces will be covered with PPF.
COmputer CUT
To ensure accuracy, we used modern software to plot out the majority of the C8 Z06. This ensures that the PPF is installed perfectly with minimal cutting.
PPF matte conversion
The car came factory with gloss black paint. The customer wanted the car to stand out and decided to go with PPF matte conversion. Unlike vinyl, PPF is much thicker and does a bigger job protecting the paint.
